Stephen was born and raised on Long Island, New York and
moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1997. "For as long as I can remember
every summer we packed up our belongings, jumped in the station wagon,
and headed south of New York or west across the country. Every town we
passed through was a new adventure." He continues to experience
new adventures with his wife and children. Stephen's passion to experience new places around the globe have sparked his interest in photography, as he sees each new place as a "way to document history being made around the world". By applying a journalistic style to his work, Stephen's goal is to educate his viewers about lifestyles other than their own. In addition to the images that can be viewed in the gallery, Stephen has also filmed and produced the documentary "Inflamed", a film documenting the proposal of Washington's Initiative 901 (Smoking Ban) and the hardships the passionate people of Washington have faced, in order for it to be placed on the Washington State ballot. | ||
