Macro photography is all about showcasing a subject larger than it is in real life — an extreme close-up of something small. I am a detailed person so the details that macro photography provides, especially when a professional photography is using macro photography to explore the minute details of insects, geology and life is general is fascinating.

I had my hands on a macro lens many years ago and experimented a bit in my back yard. This set of images are my experiments.
