STORY

While vacationing in Japan during the summer, I visited a troop of Japanese macaque monkeys soaking in the hot springs of Jigokudani which is a quiet ravine in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. They are playful monkeys, grooming each other in the sunshine and swimming in the hot springs. The monkey in the photograph was swimming towards me when I captured this image.
