STORY
On an Antarctica expedition in January 2024, this photograph was captured from the deck of the ship as we started to head back to Ushuaia, Argentina on the ship through the Lemaire Channel. This image, as well as five others, was submitted as a series titled "Ethereal Moments in the Antarctic Peninsula" to a number of prestigious global photography contests. The series won Gold (1st place) in the PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris contest and Jury Top 5, Honorable Mention in the International Photography Awards photography contests.
