Glacier Bay, Alaska
Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, located in Southeast Alaska west of Juneau, is a stunning national park in the United States. I had the pleasure of visiting this breathtaking place in 2011 on a cruise departing from Seattle. The trip was mostly overcast, with advection fog—a type of fog that forms when warm, moist air moves over a cold surface, like an iceberg or snow-covered ground. The photographs below capture the natural weather patterns of the trip, with split toning applied to highlight the mesmerizing blue ice.
